This is an easy one!
- Anything sticky and chewy.
- Anything hard and crunchy.
Examples of sticky and chewy include: caramels, taffy, gum and things like that.
Examples of hard and crunchy: ice, nacho chips, carrots, apples, hard pretzels, pizza crust, nuts etc.
You can still eat most things (including carrots and apples). Just cut them up into small bite sized pieces. With braces on, you should NEVER bite into anything like you would an apple, corn-on-the-cob or a chicken wing. Just live by the rule: Small Bite-Sized Pieces.
